The Purpose

At times the world around us seems a big place with lots of information for our seemingly small minds to take in. And I believe most of the time it’s easier to just try to not think. To not question, to not pursue answers, to not try to push past all the lies and false information in order to discover the truth about things. It’s easier to be complacent and go along with a willingness to just be entertained and fill our time with only pleasurable things, nothing that pushes us too far out of our comfort zones.
But a people who will not seek out truths for themselves are slaves already, and can be far too easily swayed by the forthright opinions of others who seem to know what they’re talking about.

I submit to you that there is another way of thinking. A world where we ask questions and discover truths. Where we find out who we are and what our place is. Not by being willing to only accept the thing that is put before us first, but by training our minds to seek out truth amongst all the vast quantities of information that are thrown at us every day.
Lively conversation is healthy for growing intellectual minds, it helps us to think about the world that we live in and our place in it.
I like to think, read and learn. Here I will share with you my findings, and provide an avenue for conversations about these subjects. Your comments are most welcome, challenges are healthy too. ;)
Controversial topics are also welcome. I don't wish to start arguments and cause division. But I think It's important to question. Find out why we believe what we say we believe. Get down to the truth of the matter. Or the heart of it.

I also have a section for DIY projects which I hope to fill with successful and non successful attempts at different projects ( i.e. hair styles, healthy and organic ways to treat your skin, successful recipes etc.), tips and pointers on how to adopt a healthy lifestyle of self-discipline and self-motivation, seasonal projects for home and garden, etc.

If you enjoy what you read or find it at all helpful or informative please feel free to let me know or share my blog with others. Thank you for reading.
